This is my first, and only, livejournal account ever so there might be some mistakes made in the beginning before I get the hang of it. My username is Waruji but on fanfiction.net and fictionpress I'm Serpentine Wisdom (which is actually what waruji stands for - if the japanese-english online dictionary that I looked it up on is right) and a poem I wrote and posted on fictionpress as Serpentine Wisdom was what inspire the title of my livejournal.

In the Absence of the Sun

Another day wasted,
Being no one at all.
I’m a creature of the dark
And can only grow in the shadow of the moon.
Stumbling blind in the mist of who I am,
Trying to find something that matters.

Ask me who I am,
Don’t tell me how to be.
I might not be someone right now
But one day I will be,
I’ll have my own identity
That won’t fade away
As night pulls to a close.

Until I find myself
Don’t look for me,
Perhaps I am a bud that only flowers at night
In the absence of the sun.


I was desperate for a title so I just chose the first thing that came to my mind really but I suppose that its appropriate since I usually write about the darker side of things. Which is why I made this account, to post what I write somewhere other than fanfiction.net.
